Self Service Portal 

Catalyst is a self service portal and allows users to access information that is important to them. Most people have a perspective and they need to find information according to that perspective. Information overload is a major concern and Catalyst serves up specific information in a speedy and intuitive way.

Information Store

Perspective views present data on invention disclosures, intellectual property, licenses and other agreements, in an intuitive format that allows you to find and manage recent key events such as, "what is new?", "what has expired?" and "what has been terminated or abandoned?". 

Private/Public Discussions 

If you want to create an informed and collaborative community,  you need to be able to have “in context” discussions centered around specific entities, assets or agreements.

That’s exactly what our discussion capability provides. Private or public discussions can be created around any Catalyst view or Nucleus data representation.

Currently, a large part of organizational discussion is conducted through email, printed documents, voice or fax. Over time it will become less likely that anyone will recall all of the details behind a given issue. Catalyst provides a publish-once, context-oriented discussion which can use your company's email system as the notification transport layer.

Document Requestor/Library

In all sizes of organizations, it is very difficult to manage the execution or use of standard forms and documents. The Document Requestor provides a mechanism for a user to be able to find and download such documents or forms.  

Examples would include a standard  ; “Report on Inventions Form”, “Non-Disclosure Agreements”, “Memorandums of Understanding”,  “Material Transfer Agreements”. In addition, the Document Requestor library tracks overdue signage, provides posting flags to Nucleus and provides instruction to users on requirements for execution, including  approval and amendment rights.

Nucleus Administration

Nucleus administrators control membership through the same user security model used in the full client. Furthermore, discussions and document requests are monitored from Nucleus for seamless administration and zero hassle.
